Not a bad month but not a great month either. I was planning on doing a lot more than this to get ready for Bighorn but with battling Patellar tendinitis for the last 29 days I am doing what I can. Hope it is enough for Bighorn. Time to start the taper with a 50-60 mile week, then cut down to 30-40 and then 10 on race week. Hopefully the reduced miles will bring my knee around. Maybe I should cut the mile even more than that for the next 3 weeks? Thoughts?

Biking does not impact the knee as much?
ReplyDeleteTested it yesterday, does not seem too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good taper to me. You'll be fine for Bighorn. 300 miles running and another 30 miles hiking is solid.
