Theme of the month: Getting back on track.
A great month with a focus of getting myself back on track on all fronts. Seemed to have derailed myself over the past few months and I am over it. Spent 4 days up in Sheridan helping Donnie do Bighorn 100, which he rocked, and I think that reset the motivation that I have seem to be lacking lately. Being out there moving all night long was just what I needed. Of course I could have gone without tripping and doing a superman forehead first into a tree and knocking myself out but that is all part of it.
Since I am in catch-up mode again with the monthly blog lets get right to it.
Training Update
Somewhat of a decent month getting back on track. Would have liked to see the total hours over 72 but I will take it. I did take a large chunk of time off after pacing Donnie for 34 plus miles at Bighorn. This was the longest run of the year so far. And still super active at the gym as well but see that dropping the next couple of months as I ramp up mileage and effort a little to get ready for Run Rabbit Run.
Caught up with Bob, Clyde, Kelly, Donnie, Porf, Dan, Ray, Jhon, Marie, Adam, Chris Poland, Don R., and a
Denver Trailrunners Sunday run this month in person so it was awesome
month on that front at least. Starting to really feel like things are getting back to normal with going to races and not having to wear a mask.
Here are the total hours broken down by activity for the month.
